Location for this role: Remote/Philadelphia area
Data Lens is seeking a hands-on Azure BI engineer for a six-month contract role

Responsibilities:
- Understand the data migration and reporting needs of the customer
- Develop framework for migrating data from on-prem and cloud environments
- Develop data transformation / integration layers
- Create data pipelines from multiple data sources to a serverless environment
- Perform data modeling for BI layer to be consumed by Power BI
- Assist with the build-out of semantic models and dashboards
Required skills and experience include:
- Must have experience with Microsoft Azure data platform components: Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure DB/DW
- 5+ years working with the Microsoft SQL Server platform
- 2+ years experience implementing Power BI dashboards
- Development/management of stored procedures, functions and views
- Previous ETL experience using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Strong experience in moving data from on-prem and cloud sources
- Experience with implementing data ingestion/integration approaches
Other experience:
- Prior experience with customer data management a plus
